A step by step guide to cleaning your Timberland boots

Timberland boots are the ultimate durable footwear for anyone who wants a mix of style and rugged durability. Whether you wear them for work, hiking, or casual outings, they're built to withstand all types of weather and terrain. But if you want to keep your Timberlands looking their best, it's important to give them the proper care and maintenance they deserve. Here are some tips to keep your Timbs clean and well-maintained using Timberland product care products.

Keep your Timberlands looking clean and fresh with Timberland cleaning product

Get that dirt off

Start by brushing off any dirt or debris on the surface with a soft-bristled brush. This helps prevent dirt from getting into the leather and making it harder to clean.

Time to Clean

Next, use Timberland Boot Sauce™ Cleaner to remove tough stains and dirt. This powerful cleaning solution is specially designed for leather boots and preserves the leather's natural oils. Simply apply a small amount of Boot Sauce™ Cleaner onto a damp cloth and rub it onto the boots, focusing on any stains or marks. Rinse with water and dry with a clean cloth.

Keep those Boots in Tip Top Condition

After cleaning, condition your boots with Timberland Waximum™ Waxed Leather Protector to moisturise the leather and prevent it from drying out or cracking. Made with natural beeswax and oils, it's perfect for conditioning and protecting leather from moisture and stains. Apply a small amount of Waximum™ Waxed Leather Protector onto a soft cloth and rub it onto the boots, making sure to cover the entire surface. Allow the boots to dry for at least 10 minutes before wearing them.

Protect, Protect, Protect!

Finally, protect your boots from water damage with Timberland Balm Proofer™ All-Purpose Protector. This product creates a barrier on the surface of the leather, preventing water from seeping into the boots. Simply shake the can well and spray a generous amount of Balm Proofer™ onto the boots, making sure to cover the entire surface. Allow the boots to dry for at least 24 hours before wearing them.

By using our specially formulated Timberland product care range and following these simple steps, you can keep your Timberland boots looking as good as new and increase their lifespan. If you’re ever in any doubt about how you should care for your boots, you can always consult the product care manual which you’ll find in the box with your boots.
